" This year in 56ers Sunday School we will be taking an exciting journey through the entire Bible! In an interactive program, we will discover how it all fits together according to God's plan. This Fall, we will begin in Genesis and learning "Matters of the Heart" with Cain and Abel, Abraham and Isaac, Jacob and Esau. Then we will journey into "Living Your Faith Out Loud", learning how to Listen Up!, Be Bold, and about Passover. And wrapping up the fall with our favorite, "Big DOGs Game Show"!! woof woof!! Big DOGs stands for disciples of God and we will study Bible big DOGs like Boaz, Gideon, Solomon, Esther, and Nehemiah.
Our class begins at 9:00 and we enjoy our "Cafe" time of snack and social time till about 9:15. We then join together for our large group study which involves drama, video, music and teacher instruction. We usually break off into smaller groups for further discussion or an activity or game with class ending around 10:00am Our goal is to keep sunday school fresh, fun exciting, instructional and most of all, practical for 5th and 6th graders. We want to give them God's plan for how to live and shine in the world.
